The Assistant
The docked panel, its controls, and what it can actually do.
TraderReflex Assistant
The TraderReflex Assistant is a docked panel beside your workspace. Its subtitle says it plainly: docked alongside your workspace, because it is designed to be used while you work rather than as a separate destination.
Open it from the sidebar or with the keyboard shortcut, Command with Shift and A on macOS, Control with Shift and A on Windows. Drag the edge to resize it.
What makes it different from a general chatbot is context. It knows which screen you are on, it can read your strategy, and it can query your trade data through the same engine the dashboards use. When it tells you your profit factor, it is calculating it, not guessing.
Header controls:
- Clear conversation empties the thread.
- Close assistant hides the panel.
Starting suggestions on most screens are Where do I review a trade?, How TraderReflex helps me grow, and Show my total P&L. Those three are chosen to demonstrate the three things it does: navigate, explain, and calculate.
What it can do
The assistant works through tools rather than only text. Asking it something can make it take an action or fetch real data.

It does not place orders, it does not predict prices, and it will not tell you what to buy. Asking it for entries is not a limitation it apologizes around; the product does not do that.
Ask it concrete questions. Where do I set a daily loss limit, show my results by hour, what is missing from my plan, and why is this rule failing are all things it answers well. What should I trade tomorrow is not.
Voice and read-aloud
The composer has two audio modes.
Voice conversation lets you speak instead of typing. Turn it on with the voice control (Start voice conversation), and the placeholder changes to indicate that silence sends your message. Status appears as Listening, Thinking, or Speaking, and you can interrupt with the stop control. Captions appear on screen while it speaks.
Read tours aloud is separate and does not use your microphone. With it on, guided tour steps are spoken as you move through them, which is genuinely useful because it lets you look at the interface being described instead of reading text next to it.
Without voice mode, Command or Control with Enter sends a message.
Voice is worth trying during a live session specifically because typing takes your hands off the platform. Asking out loud where the pass button is, while the market is moving, is a different proposition from typing it.
