AI policy

TraderReflex includes optional AI-assisted features to help you review decisions, reflect on trades, and work with your trading workspace. This AI Policy explains how those features work, what data they use, and the limits you should expect.

1. Scope

This policy applies to AI-assisted capabilities in the TraderReflex application and related customer-facing services, including the in-app assistant and analysis suggestions.

It also describes how TraderReflex uses AI internally to draft public website and product documentation, and how we label that published copy for readers. Customer use of the TraderReflex app does not include AI tools for creating marketing or website content.

This policy supplements our Privacy policy.

2. What the AI features do

In the TraderReflex app, AI features generate text, suggestions, or structured responses based on prompts and context you provide or that the product supplies for a specific task (for example reviewing a journal entry, summarizing a trade, or answering a product question).

AI output is meant to support your judgment. It is not financial advice, legal advice, or a substitute for your written trading plan or risk controls.

3. What data is sent to AI providers

When you use an AI feature, TraderReflex may send relevant context to an LLM provider configured for that feature. Depending on the feature, context may include:

  • The prompt or message you submit
  • Selected workspace content needed to complete the task (for example a note, strategy excerpt, journal entry, or evaluation record)
  • Product metadata required for the request (for example feature name or formatting instructions)

We design features to send the minimum context needed for the task. You should avoid submitting information you do not want processed for that request.

4. Model providers and configuration

TraderReflex may use cloud LLM providers and, in some deployments, locally hosted models. The provider used for a given feature depends on product configuration and your subscription tier.

Provider processing is governed by the provider's terms and privacy practices in addition to this policy. We select providers and configurations with security and data handling requirements appropriate for a trading workspace product.

5. Training and retention

We do not use your workspace content to train public foundation models. LLM providers process requests to deliver the feature you invoked. Retention by providers, where applicable, follows their policies and our agreements with them.

TraderReflex may retain prompts, responses, and usage metadata needed to operate the feature, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and provide support. Operational logs are handled under our Privacy Policy.

6. Content authorship indicators

On our public website and product documentation, selected multiline text blocks show a small icon beside the copy so you can see how TraderReflex authored the passage. These indicators apply to published content you read, not to content you create in the app:

Human-authored content. Hover or focus the icon for the label. (Written by a human)

AI-assisted content. Hover or focus the icon for the label. (Soon to be rewritten by a human)

Published copy is treated as AI-assisted by default unless our team marks it as human-authored. These indicators are informational. They do not change how AI features process your workspace data.

7. Human review and your responsibilities

You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it. AI responses can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Do not treat generated content as guaranteed factual, compliant, or suitable for execution decisions.

For trading workflows, keep your written plan, risk limits, and compliance obligations primary. Use AI suggestions as input to your process, not as automatic instructions.

8. Availability and limits

AI features may be unavailable during outages, model changes, or usage limits tied to your plan. We may throttle or suspend AI access to protect service stability or prevent abuse.

Some features allow you to choose among available models where your plan supports it. Model availability may change over time.

9. Prohibited uses

Do not use AI features to:

  • Attempt to extract secrets, credentials, or other users' data
  • Generate content that violates law or third-party rights
  • Automate market manipulation, unauthorized access, or other harmful activity
  • Circumvent product safeguards or usage limits

We may restrict or terminate access for misuse.

10. Changes to this AI policy

We may update this AI Policy as our features and providers evolve. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page.
