Order Guard

Sending an order to DAS through a limit check.

Order Guard

Order Guard is on the second tab of the DAS Trader Pro panel. It builds an order, checks it against limits you set, and sends it to DAS.

Order fields:

FieldOptions
SymbolThe ticker
QuantitySize
SideBuy, Sell, Short, Cover
TypeMarket, Limit, Stop, Stop Limit
Limit PriceFor limit and stop limit orders
Stop PriceFor stop and stop limit orders
Time in ForceDay, GTC, Pre-Market, Post-Market

A quote block shows Bid, Last, and Ask, with a refresh control.

The guard itself is four limits: Max Order, Max Position, Min Price, and Max Price. An order that violates them is refused before it reaches DAS.

Place Order submits it.

Be clear about what this is. TraderReflex is not a broker and Order Guard does not change that: it is a local client that hands an order to DAS Trader Pro, which is your broker platform, on your machine, under your account. The value is the pre-trade check. A maximum position limit that lives in software cannot be talked out of its position by you at ten in the morning.

Set the limits when you are calm, and set them to what you believe rather than what you hope. A limit set generously enough to never trigger is decoration.
