Tags
Marking trades so you can include or exclude them later.
Using tags
A tag is a label on executions. Tags exist so that you can separate categories of trading without deleting anything.
The standard tags are:
| Tag | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ignore | Should not count in normal analysis |
| anomaly | Something unusual happened here |
| best | An example of you at your best |
| worst | An example of you at your worst |
| wallofshame | The ones you should not be allowed to forget |
Tags can be applied during import, using the tags field in the custom mapper (with Select Tags, Available Tags, and Apply Tags), and on existing trades from the trades table with Tag All.
Once applied, tags drive the Tags filter in the analysis filter bar, in either Include or Exclude mode, and the Data scope panel in the report builder (Include any or Exclude if any).
The best and worst tags have an underrated use. Tag five of each, then filter to just those ten trades and look at what actually differs. It is usually not the setup.
Tags are separate from scoring exclusions. A tag changes what you look at. An exclusion changes what counts toward your behavioral scores. Use tags for analysis and exclusions for scoring.
