Account and sign-in
Creating an account, signing in, and what happens on first launch.
Signing in
Authentication runs through a hosted identity service, so TraderReflex never stores your password.
On the sign-in dialog (Welcome to TraderReflex) you have two paths:
- Sign in for an existing account.
- Create account to register a new one.
After the identity step, the app moves through a short sequence while it prepares your session. You may see Initializing, Authenticating, Loading your profile, and Loading data in turn.
If sign-in fails, the dialog offers Try Again and, for stubborn browser state, Force Clear and Reload, which clears the cached session and starts over. Other cards you may meet:
- Account not authorized for this environment if you signed in with an account that belongs to a different deployment. Use Sign in with a different account.
- Profile service unreachable or Could not load profile when the backend cannot be contacted. Try again retries without a full reload.
- Account setup is taking longer than expected when provisioning is slow.

Workspace setup
A new account needs private storage and a profile before it can hold anything. That provisioning runs in the background the first time you sign in, and again after a checkout when your plan changes.
You will see a banner reporting the stage it has reached: Starting setup, Creating your storage, Storage ready, Creating your profile, Profile ready, or Setup failed. Underneath it says whether it is receiving live progress (Live setup progress) or still connecting.
Elsewhere you may see Signing you in, Loading your workspace, or Preparing your workspace with the note You can explore the app while setup finishes. That is accurate: navigation works during setup, only saving needs the storage to exist.
On the Welcome screen the data start options are replaced by Setting up your workspace until provisioning completes, because there is nowhere to import into yet.
