The Welcome screen
The orientation hub and the three ways to get data in.
Welcome to TraderReflex
Welcome is the orientation hub. New accounts land here, and you can return to it from the sidebar at any time.
It contains:
- A short introduction, plus short articles that explain the philosophy behind the product.
- Introduction videos, when videos are published.
- A guided tour button, labelled with the name of the configured tour (usually Introduction).
- Recommended Starting Point with Open your strategy. This is the honest recommendation: the plan comes before the data.
- Get Started with Trading Data with three routes:
- Upload File, which opens the Import screen for CSV, JSON, Excel, TXT, and TLG files.
- Desktop Tool, which offers the TraderReflex Bridge download for broker and journal imports.
- Sim Trading, which opens the Trainer so you can generate practice data without a broker file.
The content of the articles and videos is managed centrally, so what you see may be newer than what is described here.
Close welcome dismisses the screen. It asks Close welcome? and offers Don't show welcome by default, which stops it opening automatically on future sign-ins.

The guided tour
The tour button on Welcome starts a recorded walkthrough. A tour highlights one element at a time, shows a short explanation beside it, and can move between screens on your behalf.
While a tour is running:
- The chevron buttons step backward and forward, and the check button finishes.
- The X button ends the tour immediately.
- Arrow keys move between steps and Escape ends the tour.
- Between steps you may briefly see Preparing tour step or Waiting for content to load while the target screen renders.
If the assistant has read-aloud enabled, tour steps can be spoken instead of only shown. See the Assistant chapter.
If no tour is configured for your workspace you will see No welcome tour is configured. or Tour "name" is not available yet.
