Dashboards

What the dashboards are for and how they are organized.

Turning logs into orientation

Insights turns your logs into orientation: where you stand against your targets, and which behavior deserves attention next.

Dashboards are grids of cards. Which cards you see depends on your workspace layout and your plan, and you can rearrange them (see the Workspace chapter). Common groupings appear as separate dashboard tabs:

TabFocus
OverviewThe headline numbers
SnapshotA compact summary for a quick look
DisciplineRule adherence and the discipline score
BreakdownPerformance split by symbol, time, and duration
AnalyticsDeeper charts and distributions
ExcursionHow far trades travelled for and against you

A warning that applies to this whole chapter: dashboards are the most enjoyable part of the product and the least likely to change your behavior. Reading statistics feels like work. Rewriting a rule and following it is work. Treat Insights as the place you go once a week to decide what to change, not the place you go every evening for reassurance.
