Excluding trades from scoring
The honest alternative to deleting a session.
Exclude from scoring
Exclude from scoring keeps trades in your record but removes them from Gravitas and rule scoring after the next analytics refresh. The dialog is titled Exclude from scoring? and tells you exactly how many trades and executions are affected.
You must pick a category and write a reason.
| Category | When it applies |
|---|---|
| Life context break | A real break outside your normal process |
| Data error or duplicate | A wrong import, duplicate rows, or bad broker data |
| Sim frustration session | A sim session that does not represent your normal trading |
| Other reason | Anything else, described honestly |
The reason field asks you to describe the break so that future you knows what happened, and it enforces a minimum length. That is not bureaucracy. A one-word reason is how a legitimate feature becomes a way of deleting bad weeks.
The distinction that matters: exclusion is for trades that are not evidence about your trading. A week where you traded through a family emergency is not evidence about your process. A week where you broke your rules because you were impatient is exactly the evidence you need, and excluding it removes the only record of the thing you are trying to change.
Excluded trades still appear in your trail and in your profit and loss. They simply stop counting toward the behavioral scores.
