Reviewing a trade
The trade review form and the facts around it.
Trade details
Trade Details is the factual panel: position, entry and exit, size, duration, and the executions that make up the round trip.
Read it before you write anything. Reviews written from memory are often about a trade that did not happen: the entry was later than you remember, the size was larger, and the hold was longer. Getting the facts in front of you first keeps the reflection attached to reality.
Where R-centric display is enabled in Strategy Properties, results here are shown as R multiples rather than currency.
Trade Review form
Review on a trade opens Trade Review.
What you can do:
- Add Comments in the evaluation comment field.
- Set a Score for the trade.
- Fill the trade review check-in you configured in Strategy, if you defined one. When a trade review check-in exists it replaces the plain comment and score with your own structured questions, which is the better arrangement, because a free text box invites narrative and a form invites answers.
- Submit Review, or Update when editing an existing one.
- Share the trade with a partner or cohort.
Reviews you received from someone else are read-only. Respond in the comment thread rather than editing the sharer's form.
Score the decision, not the outcome. A trade that followed your plan and lost is a good trade with a bad result, and scoring it badly teaches you to abandon the plan after normal variance.

Notes and todos
Notes in evaluation shows the notes for the selected trade's symbol and session day. Each note is stamped with when it was created and whether it was written Before trade or After trade, which is the distinction that makes a note evidence rather than commentary.
Adding or editing a note (Add New Note, Edit Note) gives you the note text, an optional Symbol, and a Category you can pick or create. Command or Control plus Enter saves.
Todos is the follow-up list. Each todo has:
| Field | Options |
|---|---|
| Description | The task |
| Category | Existing category or a new one |
| Priority | Ultra High, High, Neutral, Low, Very Low |
| Target Completion | A number of days from today, or a specific date |
The list separates Pending from Completed, can be sorted by priority, creation, or target, and shows overdue items as days overdue.
Use todos for the things review produces that are not strategy changes: contact the broker about a fill, re-read the definition of a setup, practice a specific scenario in the trainer. Strategy changes belong in Strategy, where they get committed and scored.
