Check-ins, capture, and pass

The buttons that record decisions as they happen.

Check-in buttons, capture, and pass

Check-in buttons are the check-ins whose usage is Below checklist. Their labels and colours come from Strategy, so a red reset form and a blue readiness form are visually distinct when you are moving fast. Work through the questions with Previous and Next, then Submit.

Trade capture is the button built from the check-in with the trade capture usage. Press it right after you take a trade. It saves a pending record that attaches itself to the real trade when today's executions arrive from your broker.

That sequencing is the whole feature. Your broker data arrives hours later; your reasoning is only accurate now. Capture bridges the gap so that the reasoning is attached to the trade rather than reconstructed.

Pass is the button built from the check-in with the pass usage. It logs a deliberate decision not to trade something, and passes appear later in day review under passes.

Logging passes changes what your data means. Without them, your trade log only contains the things you could not resist, and there is no evidence of the discipline you exercised. With them, a day with two trades and six logged passes reads completely differently from a day with two trades and nothing else.

Both capture and pass need a symbol selected first. If the buttons are missing, open Strategy and check that a check-in holds each usage role.
