Symbols and setups

Choosing what you are watching and naming the pattern.

Symbol entry and setup selection

Symbol Entry is the list of what you are working on. Type a Symbol and add it, reorder entries (Move to Top), remove one, or clear everything with Delete All Symbols, which asks for confirmation.

The active symbol is what the case builder, setup selection, notes, and capture all attach themselves to. Keeping the list short and current is what makes the rest of the screen meaningful.

Setup Selection names the pattern for the active symbol. Your setups are shown as a grid, with preferred setups marked, and Other lets you type a name that is not in your list. There is also a note field that saves alongside your next selection.

Using Other repeatedly is a signal worth reading: either you are trading something you have not defined, or you have a real setup that deserves writing down properly in Strategy.

If Bridge symbol sync is running, the symbol you have focused in your trading platform can be pushed here automatically. See the Bridge chapter.
