Common questions

Work through these before assuming a calculation is broken. In practice, almost all of them are one of the first three.

A filter is on. Check the analysis filter bar on the screen: the time range, the symbol, account, tag, side, and duration filters. Then check Filters in Settings, which sets the defaults and is easy to forget.

The time range is not what you think. Ranges are anchored to Eastern time, so a today filter is the Eastern calendar day, not yours. Full range in the range control means no date filter at all.

Analytics need a refresh. Rule verdicts, the scoring ledger, and Gravitas come from a pipeline that runs on demand. After an import, a commit, or a scoring exclusion, run the refresh in Settings under Data management. Panels that say nothing is in the scoring ledger yet are telling you this.

The account alias is wrong. Check the Accounts tab of your profile to see what is actually in each account, including the date range covered.

Sample data is still loaded. The import screen warns when tagged sample executions are in your log, with Remove sample data.

Practice trades are mixed in. If you imported trainer sessions into the same alias as live trading, every statistic is an average of both.

A rule never triggers. Check its Metric scope. A day-level question asked at trade scope, or the reverse, produces verdicts that look random. Then use the metric preview in the rule editor to see what the metric actually returns against your data.

A change to a rule had no effect. You probably saved without committing. Scoring uses the strategy as of the last commit at or before the moment being scored. Commit, then refresh analytics.

Old trades changed their verdicts. This should not happen for committed history, and if it does it usually means the metric or the data changed rather than the rule. Check the adherence by revision panel, which shows scoring per commit segment.

A rule is not on the checklist. Turn on Include in Checklist on the rule's Settings tab. A rule can be scored from data without ever appearing in Rigor.

The discipline score does not discriminate. If every rule carries similar weights, the score cannot distinguish a serious violation from a trivial one. Spend time on the weights.

Gravitas is not moving. It rewards process completion, review, rule adherence, logging, and consistency. If none of those happened, it is correct. Look at which dimension is weakest.

A panel described in these docs is not on my screen. Workspaces are per user and made of components. Add it with grid edit mode, if your plan includes layout editing. See the Workspace chapter.

A sidebar entry is marked restricted. That feature is not in your plan. The popover on it offers View plans.

A Rigor button is missing. Check-in buttons come from check-ins with a usage role. Trade capture, pass, trade review, and daily overview are each held by one check-in at a time. Open Strategy and confirm the role is where you expect.

The checklist is empty. No rules have Include in Checklist turned on.

Replay has no chart. Market session data may still be generating. Check Market Session Generation in Settings under Data management.

Bridge will not connect. See the troubleshooting topic in the Bridge chapter; it is nearly always the hub URL or the communication ID.

The welcome screen stopped appearing. You dismissed it with Don't show welcome by default. It is still in the sidebar.
